In their own words

Lots of Sounds

Lots of Sounds is a sound-effects library and browser-based audio service, with a soundboard, audio tools, REST API, and hosted MCP server. Its library page lists 12,530 free effects for videos, games, apps, and streams; another catalog figure lists 11,230 sounds. The maker says every sound is CC0 and may be used commercially without attribution. The API searches by keyword and filters by tags, category, or duration, then provides signed URLs for streaming or downloading MP3 files. It uses standard HTTP requests with an x-api-key header and requires no SDK. Pro costs $15 a month, or $150/year, and includes 2,500 API requests per day and unlimited downloads. Enterprise costs $49 a month, or $490/year, with 50,000 daily requests and unlimited downloads. Free access includes catalog browsing, search, filters, and previews, but no API access. The 48-sound board works without signup, and free browser tools convert and trim audio and create waveform images; the maker says processing occurs on the user's device.
