Lyric Genie
Lyric Genie is a songwriting notepad for capturing ideas, developing lyrics, and co-writing in real time. Lyrics can be organized into sections such as verses, choruses, and bridges, while AI suggestions can draw on a song’s mood, theme, and reference artists. Freestyle mode converts hummed placeholder syllables into lyrics while preserving their phrasing. Collaborators can see who contributed each line. Lyric sheets can include credits, PRO splits, and IPIs, and export as PDF or a public URL. The app imports M4A, MP3, WAV, AIFF, AAC, and FLAC audio, converting it to M4A on the device. It is available on iOS and macOS. The free plan includes unlimited songs, basic rhymes and synonyms, 60 minutes of voice recordings, and real-time collaboration. Its limits include 30 rhyme lookups per day and seven main writing-tool requests total. Pro starts at $4.99 a month, with unlimited rhyme lookups and 5,000 main requests per month; a 14-day trial is listed.
RhymeFlux
RhymeFlux is a rap songwriting app that displays rhyme matches, syllable counts, and flow cues while users write. Live rhyme highlighting matches words by sound for US, UK, Australian, and Canadian English. A syllable counter and Beat Grid flag bars that run long relative to a section. The AI co-writer offers writing and rewrite suggestions in Trap, Drill, Lyrical, and Melodic styles. Users can attach recorded takes to lyric lines; paid plans allow up to 10 takes per line. A beat player loops YouTube beats or plays supplied MP3, WAV, or M4A files. Writing works offline on every plan, with changes syncing after reconnection. The free plan costs nothing and includes one active song with three sections, 15 AI Credits every 30 days, and rhyme highlighting for the first 12 bars of the first section. Monthly access costs $15 a month, annual access costs $99 a year, and lifetime access costs 249.00 USD once. RhymeFlux is available on Android, iOS, and web.
