In their own words
MagicPlayer
MagicPlayer is a web app for generating and editing music playlists from descriptions of the listening experience a user wants. Prompts can specify mood, activity, genre, artists or a broader vibe; Quick Mode builds from preferences, while Creative Mode gives users a way to make personal playlists. Recommendation settings can lean toward popular tracks, balance familiar artists with hidden gems, or favor musical surprises. Playlists contain 20 songs by default, with options to request another length or extend a playlist. Users can edit, add tracks and share playlists, then return shared visibility to private. Playlists sync across devices, with access described for desktop, tablet and mobile. Exports are available to YouTube and YouTube Music; Spotify export support is in preview. Each suggested or added song uses one Track Recommendation credit, while listening to or reusing an added track uses none. Free includes 200 credits. Composer costs $9, paid once for 2,000 recommendations, Conductor is $19, paid once for 5,000, and Maestro is $29, paid once for 10,000.
Moodby
Moodby provides commercially licensed, royalty-free background music for businesses, with access on Android, iOS, and the web. Its library lists more than 350 curated stations, with playlists updated monthly. Businesses can schedule and customize DJ-curated playlists, request custom playlists or station recommendations from DJs and musicians, and manage locations and playback status from one account. The service supports real-time playback monitoring, staff roles and access, and natural-language prompts for mood, atmosphere, occasion, venue, audience, era or decade, and energy level. Moodby Play is its listed streaming connection; a Sonos for Business option offers zone-aware playback controlled by phone, tablet, or browser. Each zone is an independent music stream, and each location or stream requires its own payment. Moodby says it provides a certificate to help businesses communicate their royalty-free music use to local copyright organizations. The pricing page offers a 14-day trial without a credit card. The listed plans are $39 a month per zone, $29.25 a year, and $27.30 a year, billed yearly and every two years respectively. Yearly and two-year plans include a dedicated support manager; Enterprise includes priority support.
