In their own words
Mailinblack Protect
Mailinblack Protect is an email-security solution for companies, public administrations, and healthcare institutions. It covers anti-spam, anti-malware, anti-phishing, and anti-spearphishing protection, with inbound and, in Protect Advanced, outbound controls. Secure Link uses artificial intelligence to analyze links in received messages and warn users about dangerous destinations. A deep-learning model classifies email legitimacy and productivity while detecting threats, notifications, and newsletters. Administrators can configure filtering parameters, keyword categories, SPF verification, IP exclusions, rules, and alerts. Protect is available in Cloud or On-Premise configurations and is described as compatible with all messaging systems and hosting providers. Setup materials cover Office 365, G Suite, Exchange, OVH, 1&1, Gandi, Outlook, Thunderbird, and Apple Mail. A Microsoft 365 option uses Microsoft APIs to retrieve domains, accounts, and groups and configure connectors. Data is hosted in France on HDS-certified infrastructure, with processing described as GDPR compliant. DLP and DKIM signing require Protect Advanced; DLP also requires Protect Out enabled and in use. Pricing is on request.
Sophos Secure Message
Sophos Secure Message is part of Sophos Email, a cloud service for protecting inboxes from phishing, business email compromise, spam, and email-delivered malware. Sophos Email uses AI and machine-learning models, natural-language processing, sender authentication, URL rewriting, and attachment sandboxing to detect threats. Post-delivery protection can retrieve messages later identified as malicious after they reach inboxes. Organizations can set Secure Message policies for selected users, groups, domains, and external recipients. Outbound policies support TLS, S/MIME, push encryption, and portal encryption. With portal encryption, recipients can read and reply to encrypted messages through a secure web portal without maintaining their own encryption infrastructure. Multi-rule data-protection and content-control policies can detect sensitive email data and encrypt it automatically. Sophos Email integrates with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace and connects threat telemetry with Sophos MDR and XDR. Secure Message policies cannot be configured in Sophos Email Monitoring System mode. A free trial is available through an active Sophos Fusion account or the trial form. Pricing is on request, and there is no free plan.
