| Automation | CSV and email integrations can automate sending business forms as faxes, and received fax images can be automatically exported to folders. | The Automation Toolkit lets developers interact with the Zetafax Server without using the Zetafax Client; complex configurations require an additional add-on license. |
| Free trial | The maker offers a free evaluation trial in software-download and hardware-delivery versions; it does not state a trial duration on the trial page. | The trial can be installed on a server computer in a live environment for 30 days; the trial page offers free telephone and email support. |
| Headquarters | Tokyo, Japan | London, United Kingdom |
| Integrations | The optional API integration kit supports Web API HTTP requests and .NET or ActiveX APIs for adding fax transmission and reception to business systems. | The Outlook add-in supports coversheets, letterheads, delayed sending, previews, attachments, and addressing faxes using contact fax numbers. |
| Security | The maker says the product can restrict web-client functions by login user and supports password-protected ZIP attachments for fax documents sent by email. | The Exchange Online Connector uses SSL encryption for faxes and delivery reports passing between Zetafax Server and Exchange Online; the page says enhanced Zetafax security features can meet HIPAA requirements. |
| Support | Paid maintenance support includes phone and email software support on weekdays, hardware replacement for eligible failures, and free updates during the service term. | Equisys provides Zetafax support resources including user guides, documentation, software updates, and a knowledgebase. |
