In their own words
Make
Make is a visual platform for integrating apps and automating workflows. Its no-code builder uses drag-and-drop modules, and automations can also be created in code or from a prompt. Scenarios support conditional flow control, data manipulation, HTTP requests, webhooks, notes, and analytics. Make lists more than 3,000 pre-built apps and integrations, along with custom apps and connections to public APIs. AI options include agents, tools, Maia natural-language automation building, and more than 300 AI app integrations. Each scenario action consumes credits, with some AI-provider features using more. The Free plan costs nothing and includes up to 1,000 credits monthly, two active scenarios, and a 15-minute minimum scheduled-run interval; it has no time limit and requires no credit card. Core is listed at $9 a month. Android and iOS apps can monitor phone events and perform device actions. Make lists GDPR, SOC 3, and SOC 2 Type II compliance, encryption, and single sign-on. It was founded in 2015 and is part of Celonis.
Zoho Flow
Zoho Flow connects apps and automates workflows, including across Zoho products and third-party services. It supports more than 1,000 apps, such as Zoho CRM, Slack, Google Sheets, QuickBooks, and WordPress. A drag-and-drop builder handles multi-step flows with conditional branches, delays, custom functions, and reusable subflows. Flows can start from app events, webhooks, schedules, URLs, RSS or Atom feeds, or email. AI features can create workflows from plain-English descriptions and provide Zia utilities and agentic actions. The On-Prem Agent links cloud apps with apps on a private network. Flow history shows exchanged data and errors; users can rerun failed steps and review versions. Team roles and shared connections allow collaboration without sharing account credentials. Zoho Flow has a free plan with five flows and 100 tasks per month; paid plans start at $25/mo (annual), and a 15-day trial is available. It runs on web and iOS; the iOS app can manage flows, roles, and failed steps and send activity notifications.
