In their own words
ManageEngine OpManager
ManageEngine OpManager monitors and manages network infrastructure from a self-hosted unified console. It tracks device and server metrics including CPU, memory, disk use, latency, packet loss, and response time. For traffic and bandwidth analysis, it supports NetFlow, sFlow, J-Flow, and IPFIX. Severity-based alerts and automated troubleshooting through scripts or workflow actions address faults. The product page says OpManager supports more than 11,000 device types from over 450 vendors. Integrations include ServiceNow, Microsoft Teams, OpenAI, Jira, Grafana, Slack, ServiceDesk Plus, webhooks, and REST APIs. It can use a locally deployed Ollama runtime for on-premises AI processing without data leaving the network. Access controls include custom roles, password policies, Active Directory, SAML, and two-factor authentication; listed security measures include SSL encryption and file integrity monitoring. The perpetual Free Edition monitors three devices. A 30-day full-featured trial has no device cap. Standard starts at $95 a year for 10 devices, Professional at $145 a year for 10 devices, and Enterprise at $4,595 a year for 250 devices.
Netreo
Netreo provides full-stack monitoring and observability for enterprise IT infrastructure across local, private-cloud, and public-cloud environments. Its agentless approach monitors network devices and applications through standards-based or vendor-specific technologies and APIs. Database monitoring covers performance trends and availability checks for MS-SQL, Oracle, MySQL, and other databases, with three years of retention for monitored database time-series variables. Netreo can retest failed services and suppress alerts caused by connectivity or host problems. Anomaly detection identifies devices acting outside their normal patterns. Configuration tools log changes, compare configurations, check standards compliance, and push updates. Microsoft 365 Insight adds synthetic checks, response times, and license views for Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Yammer, and Skype. Authentication can be local, SAML2, or LDAP; credentials are encrypted at rest with customer-unique keys.
