It manages IP address space, maps devices to switch ports, and combines DNS, DHCP, and IP address management, including Microsoft DNS and DHCP. More than 30 network utilities cover diagnostics, SNMP, Cisco, address monitoring, and connectivity. The downloadable product is offered for 64-bit Windows and Linux and is accessible through a browser. Mobile apps for iOS and Android monitor network addresses and ports. The free edition costs nothing and supports one Class C subnet and one switch. The Professional plan is priced on request, and Management is priced on request. A 30-day trial is available.
NetworkTonic
NetworkTonic scans network equipment, builds an asset inventory, and displays devices and their relationships on an interactive map. It can discover computers, printers, routers, switches, and other network equipment. Its inventory covers Windows, Linux, and Mac computers, including their hardware and software, and automatically synchronizes discoveries with the ServiceTonic CMDB. Discovery is agentless, so users can access asset details without installing additional programs on client machines. Multiple scan servers support distributed environments, independent networks, and networks with multiple segments. Monitoring uses CPU, RAM, disk, ping, service, and active web sensors; configured criteria can trigger alert tickets automatically. ServiceTonic describes NetworkTonic as an integrated discovery tool within its Help Desk software, connected to its CMDB, for maintaining current asset records and helping prevent incidents. A free plan is listed at free, with no other usage limits stated. The pricing page asks customers to request a quote and choose cloud or on-premise ServiceTonic, but lists no NetworkTonic price.
