In their own words
MCPEDL
MCPEDL is a website for finding downloadable content for Minecraft: Bedrock Edition, including add-ons, maps, mods, seeds and texture packs. The site says the content is free to download and describes itself as a place where Bedrock creators can share projects. It began on April 1, 2014, and says it is not affiliated with Mojang Studios. MCPEDL is available on Android, iOS, macOS, web and Windows. Its mobile installation guides cover Android and iOS and recommend the MCPEDL app; a Windows guide covers importing add-ons, resource packs, worlds and skin packs in.mcaddon,.mcpack and.mcworld formats. Project pages say downloads are securely hosted by CurseForge. The site says moderation combines automated checks and manual review, and submissions must follow Minecraft's EULA and Terms of Service and cannot collect personal information through a mod. Optional VIP membership removes banner and text ads and adds download and profile features. VIP costs $3.99 a month for one month, $9.99, paid once for three months, or $29.99 a year for one year.
MineSpecs
MineSpecs is a free Minecraft companion site offering browser tools and game resources. Its homepage lists 17 interactive tools, including calculators, a seed map, recipes, and build guides. The site also provides mods, shaders, resource packs, data packs, skins, a blog, and browser games. The catalogue lists 360 mods, with 315 downloads hosted directly and the rest linking to authors’ official pages; supported loaders are Fabric, NeoForge, Forge, and Quilt. It lists 357 shader packs hosted on the site, plus 49 links to authors’ pages. Calculators use Minecraft’s formulas and target Java Edition 26.3. Tools are static browser pages that work offline after loading, install nothing, send nothing to a server, and need no sign-in. They are built for Java Edition, so Bedrock results are only a close guide where enchanting and brewing differ. Hosted content is limited by applicable licenses, and hosted mod files are checked against Modrinth using SHA-1 checksums. MineSpecs is an unofficial fan project, not affiliated with or endorsed by Mojang Studios or Microsoft.
