Megaport Cloud Router (MCR) is a managed virtual Layer 3 router linking endpoints on the Megaport Network. It can route between cloud environments without requiring a customer’s physical presence in a data center, supporting multicloud and hybrid connectivity. MCR handles up to 10,000 static and dynamic routes, including routes configured for individual sub-VLANs on Q-in-Q-capable connections. Listed BGP capabilities include BFD, MED, static routing, autonomous-system-number support, a BGP toggle, and NAT IP addresses. MCR Looking Glass provides on-demand ping and traceroute from the router for connectivity checks and routing diagnosis.
