In their own words
Melissa Data Quality
Melissa Data Quality helps organizations maintain contact records by standardizing, verifying, and correcting addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, and names. Its workflow can profile and monitor data, cleanse and standardize it, enrich verified records, and consolidate duplicates into a golden record. Address tools cover more than 250 countries, and name recognition includes more than 650,000 first and last names. Phone checks authenticate and geolocate mobile and landline numbers, and assess whether mobile numbers are live and callable. Email checks validate domain, syntax, and spelling, with SMTP testing or a real-time inbox check available. Deployment choices include on-premise APIs and web services supporting REST, JSON, and XML. Integrations include Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Excel, Microsoft 365, Google Sheets, Shopify, and Snowflake. The listed GAV Free plan provides 250 records per month at free; paid plans include monthly subscriptions and one-time address verification. Subscription options include compliance reports, unlimited technical support, and a standard 99.9% SLA guarantee.
ZeroBounce
ZeroBounce verifies email addresses, cleans lists, and provides tools for sender reputation and inbox health. Validation is offered for bulk files and through a real-time API; the company claims 99.6% accuracy. Deliverability features include email warmup, inbox placement and server testing, blacklist and DMARC monitoring, and a dashboard. AI Email Scoring ranks addresses from 1 to 10, while Email Finder looks for professional addresses using a name and company domain. ZeroBounce lists more than 40 integrations and also supports API, SDK, and Zapier connections. An iOS app is available for list cleaning. The company says uploaded files are encrypted after TLS upload and deleted within 30 days, and that it operates its own data center and hardware rather than storing customer data on public cloud providers. A business account gets 100 free verifications per month. Pay-As-You-Go costs $39, paid once for 2,000 validations; ZeroBounce ONE costs $99 a month.
