Nomi AI is a platform for conversations with AI companions for friendship, romantic relationships, fantasy roleplay, or mentorship. Users can create a backstory, share preferences, and shape a companion’s personality through conversation. Short-, medium-, and long-term memory retain preferences and roleplay context. Nomis support voice chats and hands-free calls, can optionally message after a user has been away, and can access the internet to discuss shared links or view images. Users can create multiple Nomis for one-to-one or group chats, with memory across both; companions can also send scenario-based selfies, and image and art generation are supported. The service runs on Android, iOS, and web, including a browser-based PWA. Free-tier users retain one-to-one chats, while group chats, video creation, voice messaging, and calls become read-only. The Free plan costs nothing; paid monthly plans include Launch Plan Monthly at $9.99 a month and Standard Plan at $15.99 a month. Nomi is intended for adults only, and its terms prohibit use by anyone under 18.
