Overview

Mentornity supports one-to-one and group mentoring, along with self-selection, freestyle and structured formats. That flexibility suits organizations running different kinds of programs in one system. For a simple informal pairing arrangement, its matching and oversight tools may be more than necessary.

Key features

Administrators can weight profile criteria and set mandatory filters to score potential pairs. Matching is deterministic for the same data, which helps make outcomes repeatable; an AI rule can also use free-text goals to find relevant expertise when structured profile fields are insufficient. The combination offers useful control, though it depends on administrators defining criteria that reflect the program’s needs.

Mentors can publish recurring availability for mentees to book. Connected calendars block busy times, and meetings receive video links. Integrations include Zoom, Google Meet and Calendar, Microsoft Teams and Outlook, Jitsi, SAML identity providers such as Azure AD and OneLogin, and Excel or CSV import and export. Mentornity’s own video calls open in a browser and work on mobile browsers, rather than requiring a separate native call experience.

Program Health flags stalled pairs and open tasks, while coordinators can be assigned to specific pairs. Participants can submit support requests in the app; administrators use a shared board and respond under the program’s name. Reports export as CSV, Excel or PDF, and completed participants can receive certificates. These tools give coordinators several ways to follow progress and close out a program, without making them the right fit for every informal mentoring setup.

The privacy policy says the service is hosted in AWS’s Frankfurt region, uses HTTPS/TLS connections and salted bcrypt password hashes, and stores encrypted backups in the EU. Mentornity says it does not sell personal data or use program data to train AI models. White labeling and SAML single sign-on are available at extra cost, so organizations that need either should factor that charge into the decision.

Pricing

Free: 0.00 USD per free, billed per month, with no expiry. It supports up to 10 users, includes all paid-plan features, and requires no credit card or setup fee. This is a practical way to run a small pilot with the core feature set; the 10-user ceiling limits its use for a larger cohort.

Program: 289.00 USD per month, billed monthly, and cancellable whenever you like. The yearly option is $3,120 invoiced once for the year, also shown as $260 per month. It covers 50 active users, unlimited programs, cohorts and administrators. Only active participants count toward the paid plan, and administrators and coordinators are free, which makes the cap more useful for organizations with substantial staff oversight. The cost jump from the free plan is significant for a program that only needs a modest increase in participants.

Custom: custom pricing for more than 50 users, based on user count and requiring a quote. White labeling and SAML SSO are priced separately. This is the route for larger programs, but the add-ons mean the final cost depends on the organization’s requirements.

There is no free trial; the no-expiry free plan is the way to evaluate the product without paying. Paid-plan participant limits and the separate charges for white labeling and SAML matter more than the platform’s freemium label when budgeting for growth.

Platforms

Mentornity runs on the web, Android and iOS. Its in-platform video calls open in a browser and work on mobile browsers, which is useful for participants joining from phones without a dedicated native calling flow.

Who it's for

Mentornity fits companies, universities, accelerators and communities that need structured programs, repeatable matching rules and visibility into participant follow-through. It is particularly compelling for a small pilot or a program with up to 50 active participants and coordinators who need to monitor stalled pairs. Organizations that need more than 50 active users, white labeling or SAML SSO should weigh custom pricing and add-on costs before committing.

Pros and cons

Pros

Weighted rules, mandatory filters and goal-aware AI matching let coordinators shape pairing to program criteria.
Recurring availability, calendar busy-time blocking and meeting links reduce scheduling coordination.
Program Health, pair-level coordinator assignment and in-app support requests help teams follow issues through.
The free plan has no expiry and includes paid-plan features, making a pilot possible for up to 10 users without a card or setup fee.
Only active participants count toward the paid plan, while administrators and coordinators are free.

Cons

The free plan stops at 10 users, while the next stated tier is 289.00 USD per month, a substantial step for growing programs.
White labeling and SAML SSO cost extra, so organizations needing either must account for more than the base plan.
Custom pricing requires a quote for more than 50 users, making large-program costs less straightforward to budget.
In-platform video calls open in a browser, which may not suit teams seeking a native calling experience.

Alternatives

Mentoring Software is the broader category directory for comparing options. Choose PushFar if a free individual mentoring network is the priority; its organizational platform has custom pricing. Brancher is worth considering if a free trial and annual plans with quarterly or monthly payment options matter more; its Enterprise plan is priced per participant, with lower per-participant cost as a program grows.

Mentors Outreach may suit a smaller community program: its free Community plan covers 100 participants, 10 programs and one organization workspace, while Professional costs A$149 per organisation per month. MentorCity is another freemium option for teams considering a mentoring platform with dedicated account management, messaging, file sharing and meetings. Mentorloop is a paid alternative with a Pro plan starting at $299/mo for a simple program, including program themes and a focus on non-profits and community groups.

Chronus may be a better fit for programs that need a stated license allowance of up to 300 or 1,000, depending on plan; its prices are custom. MentorcliQ offers a stated entry plan starting at $9,900.00 per year for 100 employees, which may suit organizations budgeting for that scale. Qooper uses custom pricing based on program scope, participant volume and organizational requirements, making it an option for buyers who want a quote built around those factors.

Verdict

Choose Mentornity if your organization needs configurable matching, scheduling and participant oversight in one mentoring-program platform, especially for a pilot or a program of up to 50 active participants. Its strongest case is the breadth of controls and progress tools, backed by a no-expiry free tier. Look elsewhere if the paid-plan jump, separately priced SAML or white labeling, or custom pricing beyond 50 users does not fit your budget.
