MERIDIQ
MERIDIQ combines patient records, treatment notes, appointments and payments for chiropractic and osteopathy clinics. Records support assessments, SOAP notes, treatment records, templates and patient history. Patients can book online into a clinic calendar, with appointments linked to records and automated SMS reminders. The platform links payments to patients and treatments and also offers invoicing. It runs in a browser on computers, tablets and phones without installation, with Apple and Android apps also available. Listed integrations are Stripe, Viva Wallet and Google Calendar, which MERIDIQ says are included at no extra cost. Its public API is labeled Alpha, with tokens and endpoints for users to try their own integrations. MERIDIQ says patient data is encrypted, stored in the EU/EEA, backed up regularly and protected by role-based permissions and activity logs. A free 14-day trial includes all features. The Booking plan costs £5 per user per month; other listed plans cost £8 a month, £16 a month and £22 per user per month.
Oryx Dental
Oryx Dental is a cloud-based dental practice management platform that combines clinical charting, imaging, patient communication, scheduling, billing, and insurance verification. Clinical tools include AI voice perio charting, real-time transcription and summaries, AI exam charting, and AI-powered imaging. Pearl Second Opinion and Overjet are integrated into imaging workflows. Patient-facing features include online scheduling, two-way texting, automated reminders, forms, and a portal; billing tools cover payments, eligibility checks, claims, and revenue-cycle workflows. Oryx says it supports HIPAA, PIPEDA, and Ontario PHIPA requirements, with AES-256 encryption at rest and HTTPS/TLS in transit. It lists two-factor authentication, role permissions, audit trails, and unusual-activity monitoring. Hosting is on Google Cloud Platform, with US practices in US regions and Canadian practices in Montreal; daily backups are retained for 90 days. Oryx says practices own and can export their data, and identifiable patient information is not used to train AI models. Paid plans include Oryx Pro at $650 a month, Oryx Automate at $899 a month, and Oryx AI at $1,399 a month. Several Automate features and AI e-prescription via MDToolbox are US-only.
