Metronic Skills Matrix
Metronic Skills Matrix maps people to role skills, highlights gaps in coverage, and connects those gaps to training. Its builder includes 16 ready-made grids for settings such as restaurants, hotels, clinics, workshops, and warehouses. Skills use a 0–4 scale, from no exposure to being able to coach others. They can also be assessed as competencies through short questions, so scores can reflect demonstrated results. Metronic describes turning weaker skills into five-minute daily practice and converting PDFs, videos, SCORM, and URLs into daily questions. Safety programs can be embedded on a customer’s site or LMS. The homepage also describes linking skills to analytics and running A/B tests against business KPIs. The free matrix builder requires no account and includes CSV import and export. Usage-based training has no listed price: it uses credits, includes 200 free credits for new accounts, and additional credit pricing is available upon request. Metronic says its safety programs provide awareness-level training; formal OSHA 10/30 cards require an authorized trainer.
