In their own words
Minecraft Inside
Minecraft Inside is a free, web-based unofficial Minecraft website for finding and publishing community-created resources. Its publication platform covers mods, textures, skins, maps, videos, seeds, commands, datapacks, modpacks, and shaders. Visitors can use search and game-version filters, while listings provide dependency information and identify supported mod loaders including Forge, NeoForge, Fabric, and Quilt. The site also offers recipes, block information, instructions, and generators, plus a forum and user publication pages. A server directory lists server addresses, supported versions, and current player counts. Minecraft Inside links to resources such as OptiFine, Sodium, Iris, Just Enough Items, EMI, Xaero's Map, and JourneyMap. Authors must identify each material's author and source, and can request updates or removals or report violations by email or publication button. The site says it is not affiliated with Mojang Studios. Registration confirms consent to personal-data processing, and its privacy policy describes cookies and logging.
ModDex
ModDex is a Minecraft mod and modpack discovery and review site that combines catalog information from CurseForge and Modrinth. Shared search filters cover mod loaders, Minecraft versions, genres, themes, feature tags and ratings. Reviews can include an overall score, optional Gameplay, Performance and Aesthetics ratings, and context such as version played or playtime. Pack Finder surfaces modpacks based on preferences such as loader, game version and play style; Pack Comparison places packs side by side using ratings, tags, loaders and other catalog details. A free account is required to rate, review, vote, manage a library, create stacks, follow projects and receive notifications. Users can track modpacks in a library and make shareable collections with notes and visibility controls. ModDex does not host project files: download buttons lead to the original CurseForge or Modrinth project. It also offers a REST API, whose public v1 endpoints require a Bearer token; API use is limited to personal and non-commercial purposes. Some stack and review-image limits vary by reputation rank.
