In their own words

Miren

Miren is a container deployment platform for small teams running on Linux servers they control. It can build apps from source or run configured container images, then manage builds, scaling, routing, and TLS. Automatic source detection covers Python, Node, Bun, Go, Ruby, Rust, and Dockerfiles. Apps can declare services such as Postgres, MySQL, Valkey, Memcached, and RabbitMQ. Miren can create a separate preview deployment for each pull request, with configurable expiry; database previews are not supported. GitHub Actions works out of the box for CI/CD deployment, while GitLab CI and CircleCI need manual configuration. The runtime is open source under Apache License 2.0. An Always free plan has no seat limits or metered builds and includes a self-hosted runtime and Miren Cloud. Managed clusters have a 30-day free trial and cost $29 a month for the first six months, then 79 USD per month. Self-hosting requires users to manage their Linux server and its capacity.

Nullstone

Nullstone is a developer platform for launching and managing applications on cloud providers such as AWS. It can run workloads as containers, serverless apps, static sites, or applications on servers. Preview environments can be created from a pull request or branch and removed after review or testing. Teams provision infrastructure with Terraform modules they can fork, customize, or create from scratch. Nullstone launches infrastructure in customers’ cloud accounts and says it does not access their data; secrets remain in that account in a vault such as AWS Secrets Manager. Its security information lists SOC 2 Type II certification and role-based access controls. Listed integrations include Datadog, NewRelic, SumoLogic, CircleCI, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions. The open-source CLI supports deployments, infrastructure provisioning, data retrieval, and module management on macOS, Windows, and Linux. The Individual plan is free at free; Startup costs $50 a month and includes two users, two environments, and 30 deploys per week. The SaaS service is hosted only and cannot be independently run or installed by customers.
