MIXaiR
MIXaiR is Salsa Sound's AI-driven automatic audio mixing product for live sports. It processes standard microphone feeds without added tracking or manual operation, managing pitch, crowd, commentary, and AUX-in audio. It can produce multiple mix variants at once, with stereo, 5.1, NGA, and B-format outputs. It supports MPEG-H authoring at levels 3–7 and Dolby authoring, encoding, and decoding. Each mix can receive dynamic loudness processing toward a configurable target standard, and optional sample triggering can enhance sounds that are difficult to hear.
MIXaiR can run on a cloud platform, in a broadcast truck, or in a studio for remote production. The broadcaster solution lists AES-67, MADI, ASIO, SDI, SRT, and NDI connectivity. VST and AU plugins can be used on inputs, sub-mixes, and outgroups; those signals can be monitored and multitrack recorded. Salsa Sound says that after setup, the product produces mixes without manual or external intervention. It runs on Linux, macOS, and Windows. Pricing is on request, and prospective customers can book a trial through a contact form. Salsa Sound was formed in 2017 by Rob Oldfield and Ben Shirley.
NeuroMix AI
NeuroMix AI is a web-based audio mixing and mastering platform that processes uploaded audio into a mixed file and an explainable action report. It separates audio into stems, generates a mixing plan, and applies listed processing including parametric EQ, multiband compression, de-essing, bus compression, and limiting. Music.ai separates vocals, drums, bass, keys, and guitar. Users can download the finished WAV and export session reports in PDF or CSV formats. The free plan costs nothing and includes 5 mixing sessions and 5 audio downloads per calendar month, with allowances resetting on the first day of the month. The homepage lists MP3, WAV, or FLAC uploads, but the terms restrict files to MP3 or WAV up to 10 MB. NeuroMix AI says original uploads are deleted after processing and are not used to train its models. Mixed WAV files are retained for 7 days, while session metadata and mix plans may be kept indefinitely. Its privacy policy describes HTTPS encryption in transit, hashed passwords, access controls, and regular infrastructure security monitoring. The terms say features, availability, and output quality may change during beta.
