GPS geofencing can issue jobsite radius alerts and attach location data to time entries. Essentials can automate overtime, shift differentials, travel time, and meal-break rules, including California break requirements. The broader platform includes digital daily logs, custom forms, analytics, document management, and real-time notifications. Enterprise adds equipment and material usage tracking, custom ERP integrations, advanced cost tracking and analytics, and multi-company support. Listed integrations include Sage, Viewpoint, Foundation, QuickBooks, Procore, ADP, CMiC, Oracle, COINS, and Paychex; custom integrations are also available. mJob runs on Android, iOS, and the web. Essentials offers a 14-day trial without a credit card, and users can cancel anytime. Pricing is on request. Essentials is designed for small and mid-sized contractors, while Enterprise is for complex, large-scale, and industrial construction projects.
Werx
Werx is contractor management software for trade contractors, covering work from estimates through final payment. Users can create itemized or proposal estimates for clients to approve online, manage AIA-style G702/G703 pay applications, schedules of values and retainage, and track budget-to-actual costs and profitability by cost code. It also supports time-and-material invoicing with labor and material tracking. Werx syncs in both directions with QuickBooks Online on every plan; QuickBooks Desktop is not supported. Customers can pay invoices by credit card or ACH through Stripe. The iOS and Android Field App supports time tracking, Extra Work Authorizations and customer signatures; a full mobile version is described as coming soon. Werx is available on the web, iOS and Android, and is aimed at small-to-midsized contractors, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roofing, landscaping and remodeling businesses. Month-to-month plans cost $49.00 per month for 10 active projects, $89.00 for 20, or $119.00 for unlimited active projects. Inactive projects do not count toward the limit. There is no free plan, but a 14-day trial requires no credit card.
