| Integrations | The Chrome extension captures browser requests and adds selected endpoints to a Mockfly project. | The site lists a GitHub Action and an MCP server for coding agents; its CLI page gives setup instructions for Claude and Gemini. |
| MCP integration | An npm MCP client manages projects, endpoints, responses and conditional rules from Claude Desktop or Antigravity. | Mockzilla provides an MCP server that lets Claude Code, Cursor and Gemini CLI launch mock APIs from OpenAPI definitions. |
| Public API | A REST API at api.mockfly.dev manages projects, endpoints, responses and rules using account API keys. | Organization API keys can call the platform API at platform.mockzilla.org/v1 endpoints. |
| Support | Support is provided directly by the builders through email, in English or Spanish. | The help documentation says support issues can be opened from a workspace and that contact-form questions receive an email reply. |
| What it does | Mockfly provides hosted HTTPS mock API endpoints so teams can build and test before a real backend exists. | Mockzilla converts OpenAPI specifications or plain JSON files into hosted mock APIs with shareable URLs. |

In their own words
Mockfly
Mockfly provides hosted mock REST API endpoints for teams building or testing before a backend is ready. An endpoint can return JSON, XML, or files such as PDFs and CSVs, and can select among several responses using rules tied to incoming requests. Mock data can use Faker.js templates or AI-generated JSON. Projects can start from OpenAPI, Swagger, Postman collection, or HAR imports; a Chrome extension can capture browser requests and add selected endpoints. Teams can share and edit mocks, inspect request logs, and review response-body history. For offline work, the mockfly-cli npm package pulls projects to serve locally. A public REST API and MCP server support programmatic mock creation and editing. Mockfly lists API, extension, Linux, self-hosted, and web platforms, and supports REST and WebSocket. The free Starter plan allows 500 requests per day, one project, four endpoints, and two responses per endpoint. Pro costs €15 a month; Team costs €49 a month; Company is listed from €199 a month.
Mockzilla
Mockzilla turns OpenAPI specifications or plain JSON files into hosted mock APIs for frontend work, integration tests, and demos. It generates responses from OpenAPI schemas and can validate requests against the specification. Users can inject latency or errors at service or endpoint level to exercise retry and fallback behavior. A proxy can forward requests to a real backend while supplying mock responses for routes that backend does not serve. Its GitHub Action creates a mock URL for each pull request, updates it on pushes, and cleans it up when the branch is gone. Mockzilla records request status and timing, and supports replaying individual requests or sets of requests. The CLI is MIT-licensed, works offline, and can run on a laptop or in CI; hosted cloud features are optional. The site also lists a GitHub Action and MCP server, with CLI setup instructions for Claude and Gemini. The Free plan is free, but API access is unavailable and request history lasts two hours. Hobby costs $10 a month. Uploaded content must not contain personally identifiable information, real financial data, health records, credentials, or other sensitive data.
