ModernArch vs Sapixcraft

ModernArch is a Minecraft resource pack for Windows that changes and adds textures and models. It uses PBR textures and supports Java and Bedrock, including Vibrant Visuals and RTX. Listed resolutions are 128x, 256x, 512x, and 1024x; the maker says 1024x needs a high-end PC and substantial processing power. The 128x version is completely free and listed at free. Patreon memberships are listed at 15 DKK a month for Sapling Support, 45 DKK a month for Oak Edition, and 70 DKK a month for Acacia Elite, each plus VAT. Subscriptions provide 30 days of update access, while downloaded versions remain available. The pack is under development with weekly content updates. Shaders are optional but recommended because most features require them. A texture-atlas limit can stop resolutions above 256x256 from loading. Installation directs users to Sodium, Iris, and Minecraft’s resource-pack folder.

Sapixcraft is a Minecraft resource pack that redraws blocks, mobs, items, and interface elements in a detailed cartoon style with HD textures. It is available for both Java Edition and Bedrock Edition, with six resolution choices from 16x to 512x. Java-specific features include modeled spears and amethyst, animated eating, randomized grass textures, and redesigned mob textures. Some visual effects depend on other software: biome-specific sand and connected glass require OptiFine or Continuity, while emissive textures use OptiFine for items and blocks or Iris for blocks. The site lists eight Java add-ons, including Pretty Portals and Crisp Contours, which are free, as well as mod-support packs for Jade, AppleSkin, and Snad. Bedrock can be obtained as a one-time Marketplace purchase or through Gainful Gold membership, which includes prerelease versions and updates while membership continues. The FAQ recommends 128x as a quality and performance balance and notes that 512x requires more performance. The pack is listed for Android, iOS, Linux, macOS, and Windows.
