In their own words
ModGUI
ModGUI is a self-hosted moderation plugin for Paper servers, with graphical tools for player punishments, investigations, and reports. Server staff can configure punishment types, icons, permissions, console commands, and durations; punishment actions can work with LiteBans, AdvancedBan, EssentialsX, and other punishment plugins. Its investigate screen can display a player’s current-session anticheat flags through optional GrimAC integration. Staff can attach notes to players, and players can submit reports with /report and optional severity levels. Discord webhooks can send punishment logs, anticheat alerts, reports, and staff notes, with optional role pings. A recovery compass opens the investigate GUI when right-clicked. Configuration covers GUI borders, messages, webhook URLs, GrimAC thresholds, ignored checks, and report cooldowns. ModGUI requires Paper 1.21.11 or newer; GrimAC is needed for anticheat flag tracking. Installation involves adding the JAR to the server’s plugins folder, restarting, configuring files, and running /modgui reload. It is free under the MIT License.
PunishmentsSystem
PunishmentsSystem is a self-hosted system for moderators managing player punishments. The /punish command applies configured reasons and durations, helping operators use consistent presets. When a case falls outside those presets, /manualpunish issues a punishment while ignoring them. Operators define reasons, punishment types, and durations for each offense step in the default config.json file. The documented punishment types are mute, ban, and kick. Moderators can use /check to view a player’s punishment history or find a punishment by ID. That command also allows a charge to be forgiven, while /unban provides an alias for forgiving bans. Punishments apply across IP addresses, and /checkip can find accounts associated with an IP or player. The project’s README says its Paper code is in the paper branch. The GitHub repository identifies the license as GPL-3.0. The maker describes it as easy to use. It is free and self-hosted.
