Mongoose
Mongoose is a web and API platform for higher-education teams handling enrollment, student success and advancement. Its shared inbox combines Text, WhatsApp and Web Chat conversations, while engagement analytics, automated campaigns, SMS outreach and risk alerts support ongoing communication. The Inbox Assistant is available for Text; Application Completion and Enrollment Yield agents are listed as in development. Mongoose says its AI agents are supervised by people and can transfer conversations to staff when needed. Native connectors include Slate, Salesforce, Banner, Colleague, Recruit, Advise, Reach, Element451, Raiser’s Edge NXT, Workday and Jenzabar, with SSO, API and SFTP options. The platform is described as SOC 2 Type II audited and FERPA compliant. Mongoose says its AI runs on Azure OpenAI Service in a private Azure environment and does not train on institutional or student data. Authorized staff can access logged AI conversations, retained for the contract term or as directed; audited deletion after termination is described within 30 days. Smart Digital Forms offer configurable fields and approval flows; event and ticketing tools include recurring and collaborative events, membership validation, a marketplace, tabling, and ticket scanning. Outreach tools support SMS and email campaigns. A Student CRM and Engagement Tracker connects touchpoints such as clubs, events, and trainings with engagement scoring and student profiles.
