Moovit
Moovit combines trip planning and payment options in an app for reaching destinations. Its multimodal planner brings together public transit, ride-hailing, local bicycle services, scooters, car-sharing, and carpooling. Routes can include real-time arrivals, service alerts, and accessible options. Moovit says it serves 3,500 cities in 112 countries and supports 45 languages; its transit repository includes data from 7,500 operators and more than 6 million stops and stations. The planner also connects to more than 360 micro-mobility providers in 270 metros. The free app plan includes transit planning, real-time information, and directions. Moovit+ adds ad-free use, line tracking, route progress sharing, route comparisons, safety contacts, and live arrival updates; its page offers a free trial, though subscription pricing varies by factors including iOS and Android platform. For organizations, Moovit’s MaaS offerings include branded apps, fare payments, mobility analytics, on-demand solutions, real-time bus information, and transit data management. Developers can use web directions widgets and links, mobile deep links, and public transit APIs. API authorization uses a shared secret license key and SHA-256 signatures.
