Overview

Remaker AI brings prompt-led photo editing, a broad set of image tools and AI video creation into one credit-based service. It suits creators who want to move between image and video tasks without a recurring subscription; the trade-off is that commercial use is not allowed.

The photo editor lets users select part of an image or describe a change with a prompt. Other tools handle upscaling, background removal, object erasing, effects, portraits and tattoo generation. Video generation and short-form templates extend the toolkit, while video face swaps support multiple faces and a stated maximum length of 30 minutes.

Key features

Image and video tools

The range is Remaker’s main practical advantage: one service covers photo changes, cleanup, effects and generation, as well as video creation. That breadth makes it useful for individual creators working across formats. It is less compelling for work intended for commercial use, which the service does not permit.

Face swaps and API

Video face swapping supports multiple faces and videos up to 30 minutes, a notable ceiling for longer source clips. The API documentation covers endpoints for face swaps, upscaling, video generation, background removal and other tools, making Remaker relevant to teams integrating these capabilities into workflows. The platform is described as serving both individual creators and enterprise teams.

Credits, exports and security

New users receive free credits for generating and exporting images and videos without a watermark. Purchased credits do not expire, so buyers can use them at their own pace rather than managing a renewal cycle. Stripe processes payments, and Remaker says it does not store card information. Its privacy policy describes firewalled servers in secure data facilities while acknowledging that no security system is perfect.

Pricing

Remaker combines free access with one-time credit purchases rather than recurring subscription billing. Free access costs 0.00 USD per free; new users receive free credits, and many basic features are free. The free credits allow watermark-free image and video exports, which makes it a sensible way to try the workflow before paying, though they are a starting allowance rather than a large ongoing package.

The 200-credit package costs 5.99 USD per once. It is the lower-commitment choice for occasional work, but offers far fewer credits than the largest package. The 20,000-credit package costs 299.00 USD per once and suits heavier use that can put a much larger credit balance to work. Credit packages range from 200 to 20,000 credits, with credits valid indefinitely; the one-time model avoids recurring charges but requires buyers to choose a package size upfront.

Refund eligibility is narrow: it requires a first purchase, use of no more than 50 credits and a request within three days of purchase. Email support handles refunds and general inquiries, with responses potentially taking up to 48 hours.

Platforms

Remaker is usable through its web platform and says it currently has no official app. Although Android, iOS, macOS and Windows appear in its platform categories, buyers should not treat that as confirmation of a dedicated app for any of those systems. An API is also documented for integrating supported tools.

Who it's for

Remaker is best suited to individual creators and teams that need a varied image-and-video toolkit, value credits that never expire and prefer paying once over maintaining a subscription. Its API may also suit teams building image or video functions into a product or workflow. It is a poor fit for commercial projects, users who require an official native app, or anyone who needs recurring subscription access rather than credit purchases.

Pros and cons

Pros: A wide mix of image editing, image generation and video tools in one service, including multiple-face video swaps up to 30 minutes.
Pros: New-user credits support watermark-free image and video exports, and purchased credits do not expire.
Pros: One-time purchases avoid recurring subscription billing; API endpoints cover several of the core tools.
Cons: Commercial use is not allowed, ruling it out for paid client work or commercial content.
Cons: There is no official app, despite platform categories that include mobile and desktop systems.
Cons: Refunds require a first purchase, a request within three days and use of no more than 50 credits.

Alternatives

For a narrower focus on face swapping, compare AI Face Swap Tools and Face Swap Software. If video upscaling is the priority, see Video Upscaling Software.

AI Ease is another freemium option with Android, iOS and web platforms, free basic features and a yearly membership. Choose it when that platform mix or a yearly plan better suits your needs.

YouInMeme offers two free creations per day and a 0.99 USD one-time Day Boost for three extra creations. It is a better match when that small, daily creation allowance fits the workload.

AIFaceSwap is web-only and offers a 9.99 USD per month Pro plan with unlimited face swaps, HD output, no watermark and video face swaps up to 30 seconds. Pick it when a monthly face-swap plan and shorter video limit suit the job.

Picsi.Ai has a free tier with 10 daily credits, single-face image swaps and watermarked creations, while GIF and video tools are locked; its Basic plan costs 9.99 USD per month. It may suit someone focused on single-face image swaps who is willing to pay monthly for a higher tier.

SwapFace has a 9.99 USD one-time Basic purchase with benefits valid for 30 days, including 1,050 credits and video face swaps up to 60 seconds. Consider it when a short-duration package and that shorter video limit are a better fit.

Facy AI is another option to compare.

Wefaceswap sells credit packages, including 100 credits for 17.99 USD per once; its stated usage is one credit per image or 10 credits per 15 seconds of video or GIF. Pick it when that explicit image and video credit schedule is preferable.

Vidwud AI Face Swap is another option to compare.

Verdict

Choose Remaker AI if you want one credit-based service for varied image work and video creation, with watermark-free exports from sign-up credits and no expiry on paid credits. Look elsewhere if you need commercial rights or an official app; those limitations outweigh the convenience of its broad toolset for those users.
