Material UI is an open-source React library implementing Google’s Material Design, with production-ready components and customization options for building a design system. MUI X adds Data Grid, Date and Time Pickers, Charts, Tree View, and Scheduler components. MUI X works with Material UI, standalone, or third-party React component libraries. Community components use the MIT license; advanced MUI X features require Pro or Premium commercial licensing. Community is free and includes 40+ free components. Pro costs $299 a year per developer, Premium $599 a year per developer, and Enterprise $1,399 a year per developer from 15 seats.
