In their own words
MyOrderBox
MyOrderBox is restaurant delivery management software for coordinating orders, kitchen timing and drivers. Its driver app links with the ePOS, sending orders from the kitchen to drivers’ phones; drivers can manage grouped deliveries on a map. The ePOS can send an order to the kitchen when a driver is a specified time away, after which the Kitchen Display System tells staff when to begin preparation. Other tools include driver tracking, route optimization, performance monitoring, driver payments, postcode lookup and caller ID. Orders can be grouped automatically, with address labels showing relevant order details.
Customers can receive order-status updates and track drivers in real time through the app or website. Listed integrations include Just Eat, Uber Eats and Deliveroo, plus aggregator providers such as Deliverect and Hubrise. The software runs on Android, iOS, web and Windows. Starter is free; Basic costs £29 per month, Professional £59 per month and Enterprise £99 per month. Restaurants must provide their own delivery drivers. The ePOS can work offline and sync when connectivity returns, but online access is needed to receive online orders.
Shipday
Shipday is a delivery management platform for dispatching orders and coordinating drivers. The web platform is available on phones and tablets, and drivers use a mobile app for order information, routes, updates, chat, and proof of delivery by photo or signature. The service supports live delivery tracking, customer notifications, and dispatch management, with access to in-house drivers and third-party delivery services. Shipday lists more than 100 integrated partners. API access is available, and the Professional plan includes API and webhook access. The free plan supports up to 300 orders per month, 10 driver accounts, and one dispatch account. A 14-day trial of the full platform is available without a credit card. Paid plans start at $19 a month. Paid-plan user counts vary by plan. Support is available by phone, email, online chat, and in-app chat; listed phone hours are 9 am to 6 pm PST, Monday through Saturday. Shipday also lists AI features for review automation, coaching, calls, dispatch, reports, and customer chat.
