In their own words
Newfies-Dialer
Newfies-Dialer is a system for outbound voice and SMS campaigns, including mass calling, voice broadcasts and outbound IVR. It supports predictive dialing, press-1 transfers, voicemail detection, automatic redial and personalized text-to-speech. Campaigns can use Do Not Call lists managed by campaign or user, and the system supports scheduling, delivery reports and caller ID control. It connects with a range of SMS providers and offers an API for third-party applications to manage its features. The software uses FreeSWITCH for calls and can run on cloud or standalone servers, with multi-server configurations for higher-capacity deployments. Its documentation describes RabbitMQ broker clustering and adding workers without central configuration. Multi-tenant billing supports prepaid per-minute charges and card or PayPal payments for SaaS services. Plans start at $299 a month for 25 ports, five agents, one tenant and 10,000 daily calls and SMS. Plans include support and training, and the pricing page states there is no minimum-term contract.
Text-Em-All (formerly Call-Em-All)
Text-Em-All is a messaging platform for businesses and organizations sending texts and voice broadcasts to opted-in contacts. It supports two-way conversations, automated messages, scheduled broadcasts, personalization tags, keyword automation, real-time analytics, and carrier registration. Voice broadcasts can be sent alongside SMS or instead of it. The iOS and Android apps handle replies, conversation management, and new texts to up to 15 people; mass broadcasts are sent from the web app. Its free Starter plan includes 25 credits for testing voice broadcasts and texting your own number, but mass texting requires an upgrade. Monthly pricing depends on the number of unique people messaged and starts at $19 a month for 1–50 people. Recipients must consent to messages, promotional messages require express written consent, and political solicitation is not allowed. The company says the service is not HIPAA compliant because messages are not encrypted at rest and standard SMS cannot be encrypted in transit. Integration options include staffing and church platforms, Zapier, viaSocket, and a REST API intended for high-volume messaging above 50,000 messages per month.
