In their own words
Nextech
Nextech is software for med spas and aesthetic practices, combining clinical documentation, practice operations, client communication, and consultation tools. Aesthetic Charting supports customizable single-page documentation, client history summaries, photo management, and a specialty-specific charting library. Practice+ connects scheduling, intake, billing, payments, memberships, and reporting in one workflow. Nextech CRM provides lead capture and follow-up, including an AI Receptionist and missed-call text-back automation. TouchMD offers treatment education and consultation tools, including 3D anatomy visualizations, procedure videos, digital consents, and photography; Snap Pro supports clinical photography using iPhone or iPad. TouchMD integrates with Nextech EHR, Practice Plus, and myPatientVisit to sync photos, consent forms, and patient data. Nextech says its tools support HIPAA requirements, Good Faith Exam documentation, informed consent management, and medical delegation protocols. Practice Management is browser-based, with Chrome and Edge listed as supported browsers on Windows or Mac. The Med Spa page offers a demo and lists pricing on request.
Practice Better
Practice Better is an EHR and practice-management platform for health and wellness professionals, including nutritionists, dietitians, health coaches, and holistic healthcare providers. It combines scheduling, charting, journaling, billing and insurance, payments, reporting, protocols, and automations. Practitioners can offer telehealth, group sessions, programs, and courses, while clients can use a portal, secure messaging, and a mobile app. The platform is available on Android, iOS, and supported desktop and mobile web browsers. Practice Better Payments, powered by Stripe, supports online and in-person payments, stored billing information, and payment plans. The company says it complies with HIPAA, PIPEDA, PHIPA, and GDPR and encrypts data in transit and at rest. The free Sprout plan allows three active clients, 100 MB of storage, and one practitioner license. Paid plans start at $25/user/mo when billed annually; monthly plan prices are also listed, and trial length varies by plan. Practice Better says linking Zapier sends client contact information outside the platform and is not HIPAA-compliant for protected health information.
