In their own words
Notaron
Notaron provides remote online notarization through video sessions connecting signers with commissioned notaries. It says notaries are available at any time, without appointments, to signers in all 50 states. Customers can upload PDFs or scan paper documents with a phone camera, verify their identity, sign electronically during a video call, then download the notarized document. Notaron lists real estate, legal and personal, and business documents among the types it handles. Identity checks include government ID and identity questions; the API page also lists eID, KBA, credential analysis, selfie, and liveness checks. The API supports order creation, webhook callbacks, and retrieval of notarized PDFs, audit logs, and session recordings. The REST API and webhooks are available; Clio is early access, while QuickBooks and several other listed integrations are planned. Pricing includes a free plan and a standard session at $25, paid once. Notary plans include $29 a month for Basic, $79 a month for Professional, and $149 a month for Premium.
NotaryCentral
NotaryCentral combines remote online notarization with an e-Journal, scheduling, invoices, payments, and business management tools for notaries. The searchable journal stores entries with thumbprints, signatures, and ID numbers, and supports PDF or full-data exports. Saving an entry creates a tamper-evident hash; the service says later edits cause it not to match. Journal entries can also be created offline, including while signed out, then synced when connectivity returns. Accounting tools generate year-end profit-and-loss, mileage, expense, and 1099/payment reports for CSV or PDF download. Booking links can offer availability, service fees, add-ons, signer intake, document uploads, and optional upfront payment. Payment settings list Stripe and Square, with optional Square card-payment integration for accounting. NotaryCentral says transmissions use SSL/TLS encryption and stored sensitive account information is encrypted and access-controlled. It also says it does not sell customer data, customer lists, or notarization records. Free tiers cover the first 15 RON signings; annual Business Tools is $10 a year, shown as $10.00/month.
