In their own words

NovelAI

NovelAI combines AI-assisted story writing with anime image generation and is available on the web, Android, and iOS. Its NovelAI Diffusion V5 generator can produce original characters, scenes, artwork, and full comic pages. Image controls include natural-language prompts, tags, character positioning, and action tags; separately defined characters can remain consistent across scenes. Inpainting, Director Tools, and a built-in canvas support image refinement. The homepage identifies GLM 4.6 as the model behind story generation, and the product supports long-form writing. The Paper trial includes 30 image generations, 50 text generations, and 100 text-to-speech generations. Paid plans start at $10 a month: Tablet and Scroll each include 1,000 subscription ImageAnlas, while Opus costs $25 a month and includes 10,000 subscription ImageAnlas and a 28,672-token context size. Anlas can also be purchased on demand for image generation. NovelAI says users retain ownership of created content and encrypts stories, lorebooks, scripts, and prompt chunks in the browser before saving.
