Nuju
Nuju is an AI journal and mood tracker for quick emotional check-ins, written or spoken journaling, and reflections on patterns over time. Users can log mood and energy, write an entry, or speak when typing feels difficult; an AI reflection responds to what they wrote. Nuju also surfaces repeated moods, habits, and moments, and offers four coach styles: Gentle, Wise, Tough, and Fun. The product is a progressive web app installable on iPhone, Android, or desktop, with iOS listed as a mobile app platform. Nuju says entries are encrypted at rest and separated through end-to-end account isolation. It also says personal journal content is not used to train general-purpose AI models and personal data is not sold. Users can request access, correction, export, or deletion of their data; account deletion removes associated data within 30 days unless law requires longer retention. The Free plan includes one personal reveal, a 10-second mood check-in, and three saved entries. A 7-day trial is listed.
Rosebud
Rosebud is an AI journaling app for personal growth and self-reflection. It analyzes entries to surface moods, topics, relationships, and patterns, then offers personalized prompts and ways to explore an entry. In the web app, Dig Deeper provides either a follow-up question or three questions to choose from. Long-term memory can recall information from previous entries and is automatically enabled for Rosebud Bloom subscribers. Voice journaling includes speech-to-text transcription and text-to-speech playback. The mobile app adds custom journals, editable daily check-ins, photo attachments, handwritten-journal scanning, AI model selection, and language settings. Rosebud says data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and that journal content sent to AI providers is anonymized and discarded after processing. The free plan is available; Rosebud Bloom costs $12.99 a month or $107.99 a year. Weekly AI usage is limited, and Dig Deeper is unavailable at the limit until it resets or the user upgrades.
