In their own words
Nvidium
Nvidium is a free client-side rendering backend for Sodium in Minecraft: Java Edition. It uses NVIDIA mesh shaders for a largely GPU-driven rendering pipeline that culls terrain geometry. The project requires Sodium and an NVIDIA GTX 1600 series or newer GPU with Turing architecture or later. It is listed for Fabric and Quilt, and the supported platform is Linux. Listed Minecraft Java Edition versions include 26.3, 26.2, 26.1.x, 1.21.6–1.21.11, 1.21–1.21.1, 1.20.6, 1.20–1.20.4, and 1.19.4. Nvidium does not function on non-NVIDIA systems and disables itself there without affecting gameplay. It also switches itself off when Iris is actively using shaders. The project warns that mesh shader use may cause Minecraft to terminate unexpectedly. Nvidium is licensed under LGPL-3.0-only; GitHub is linked for issue reports and Discord for community discussion.
