OWNA
OWNA is childcare management software for centres and services, including daycare and before- and after-school programs. Families can use its app to view daily routines, programs, forms, bookings and re-enrolments, receive photos and videos, message educators, comment on posts and provide feedback. They can check invoices and account details, update ACH information and make one-off payments. Educators can plan programs, document learning and link posts to show a child’s learning journey. Staff tools include rostering, timesheets, payroll, communication and performance management; rostering features include cost analysis, forecasting, ratio and compliance tools, AI predictions and vacant-shift bidding. The free plan includes curriculum planning, attendance, a parent app and compliance. Premium is $39 a month and adds bookings and enrolments, invoicing and payments, financial reporting, rostering, timesheets and CRM. Enterprise lists custom API integration, while its CRM and analytics are marked as coming soon. OWNA recommends four to six weeks for onboarding, though it says this can take as little as five days, and says it requires no contracts or notice periods.
