VoIPmonitor

VoIPmonitor is an open-source packet sniffer paired with a commercial web GUI for monitoring, troubleshooting, and recording VoIP and RTC calls. It reports MOS, jitter, packet loss, delay, and RTCP data. Recording includes calls and SIPREC sessions, with policy-based retention and deletion rules. Troubleshooting tools provide packet captures, SIP ladder diagrams, audio waveforms, spectral analysis, and TLS/SRTP decryption. The GUI adds dashboards, OLAP analytics, scheduled reports, KPI alerts, and fraud-detection rules. Listed compatibility includes Kamailio, OpenSIPS, FreeSWITCH, Asterisk, Cisco, Avaya, Genesys, Mitel, AudioCodes, Ribbon, and Oracle SBC. Supported protocols include SIP, RTP, RTCP, SIPREC, SKINNY, MGCP, SS7, SCTP, WebRTC, Diameter, TCP, SSL, and TLS. The sniffer runs as a static Linux binary with x86 and ARM builds. Cloud CDR retention is 21 days, PCAP remains on the customer server, and the listed maximum is 2,000 channels. Cloud 3 channels costs $22 a month; On-Premise 10 channels costs $45 a month.
