Offtrack vs OpenMix

Offtrack is an AI DJ app that shortens songs and mixes them with transitions. Smart Mix trims tracks, queues songs based on how they fit together, and creates transitions; Highlight Mode focuses playback on song highlights. On iOS, users can adjust highlight lengths, edit the queue, save mixes as playlists, sort tracks by BPM or energy, and filter explicit songs. The iOS app works with Spotify Premium, Apple Music, TIDAL, SoundCloud Free, a local music library, and CarPlay, though catalogue availability varies: Spotify Premium and Apple Music are partial, TIDAL is full, and SoundCloud Go+ tracks are unavailable. Android supports Spotify Premium and SoundCloud Free, but its FAQ lists offline playback, EQ, saved transition points, and saved mix order as not yet available. Offtrack can recommend tracks matching a listener’s taste and add them to a mix. The Free plan includes unlimited Smart Mix and Smart Queue, limited Highlight Mode plays, and discovery of up to 300% new songs. Pro is $4.99 a month and includes unlimited Highlight Mode plays.

OpenMix is a web-based DJ mixing application that runs in a browser. It provides two decks, labeled Deck A and Deck B, with cue, sync, pitch, loop, and beat-matching controls. The feature list includes BPM and key detection plus an AI DJ assistant. Supported audio formats are MP3, WAV, FLAC, OGG, and AAC. OpenMix says it works offline and keeps data local. The interface also includes Strudel, which offers drum-pattern presets and BPM controls. An AI section presents FX, PADS, REC, and LYRIA buttons. OpenMix is free and open source, with a Free plan listed at free. The product is available on the web, making its mixing decks, track analysis, rhythm tools, and AI controls accessible through that platform.
