Overview

Onstipe gathers posts from services including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, Tumblr, Vimeo, Giphy, RSS and Flickr. Users can approve posts manually or screen unwanted content with rules and a profanity filter. That makes it a better fit for public-facing displays than an unattended feed embed, though automated filtering does not replace human review when context matters.

Walls can be embedded on a website or shown on a screen through a social-wall URL. Onstipe says its widgets work with WordPress, Shopify, Drupal, Wix, Squarespace and Blogger. Calls to action and shoppable user-generated content can give a wall a commercial purpose, while performance reports include information about active users or influencers.

Key features

Layouts, color and font controls, banners, tickers, backgrounds and custom CSS give teams several ways to fit a wall to a site or event display. That range matters when presentation is part of the experience; it is less of a differentiator for someone who only needs a basic feed. The API offers access to social posts in XML and JSON, which is relevant to teams building around the feed rather than relying solely on the embed.

Onstipe supports digital signage as well as web embeds, so the same kind of curated wall can serve a site or a screen. Shoppable content and call-to-action buttons may help connect posts to a business goal, while reporting offers some visibility into feed performance. The product's privacy policy says information in transit is encrypted with SSL, while also acknowledging it cannot warrant complete security of transmitted or stored information. It says Onstipe supports GDPR, has appointed a Data Protection Officer, and allows users to request access, updates or deletion of their information.

Pricing

Onstipe has a free plan, a 14-day trial that does not require a credit card, and paid plans shown from 1.00 USD per month. The Free Forever plan allows 2 stipes and 2 sources, limited to Facebook and Instagram, with no tweets and 24-hour updates. That is a narrow starting point for a small, low-frequency wall, but the two-source cap and daily refresh make it a poor fit for a broad or timely display.

Nano, Starter, Plus, Economy and Business are each shown at 1.00 USD per month. Nano provides 2 stipes, 2 sources, no tweets and 4-hour updates; Starter gives 2 stipes, 4 sources, no tweets and 1-hour updates. Plus raises capacity to 3 stipes and 6 sources, includes 500 tweets per month and updates hourly. Economy offers 5 stipes, 10 sources, 1,000 tweets per month and 30-minute updates, while Business increases that to 8 stipes, 16 sources, 2,000 tweets per month and 15-minute updates. These differences make the higher-capacity options more suitable for multi-feed or more frequently refreshed walls, but the identical displayed monthly price across these tiers makes the choice hard to assess as a value ladder.

Micro Event costs 29.00 USD per once and is described as a one-time payment for /day use; it includes 2 stipes, 2 sources, 500 tweets and 5-minute updates. That makes it the clearest event-specific option for a short deployment, though the /day term leaves the duration ambiguous. Gold at 99.00 USD per month includes 2 stipes, 4 sources and 15-minute updates; Platinum at 149.00 USD per month includes 4 stipes, 8 sources and 10-minute updates; Diamond at 249.00 USD per month includes 10 stipes, 15 sources and 5-minute updates. Those tiers favor faster refresh and more walls or sources, with Diamond offering the largest stated capacity.

The plans also have limits for screens, page views, retained posts and support, with support tiers ranging from basic through real-time. Those allowances matter for busy displays and larger teams, so they should be checked against the intended workload before choosing a plan. The monthly plan entries show a billing label but do not make the billing interval clear; custom pricing applies where a price is not shown.

Platforms

Onstipe supports web and API access. Its embed widgets target a range of common site platforms, while the social-wall URL provides a route to screen display. The API's XML and JSON formats make it relevant to teams that need programmatic access to social posts.

Who it's for

Onstipe is a sensible choice for event organizers and site owners who need to combine several feeds, moderate public content and shape a branded display across websites or screens. It is less compelling for a small site that only needs a basic, infrequently refreshed feed, or for a buyer who needs crisp, comparable billing terms before committing.

Pros and cons

Pros: Broad named source coverage, including social networks and RSS, gives teams flexibility in what they bring into a wall.
Pros: Manual review, rules and profanity filtering provide more control over public-facing content than an unmoderated feed.
Pros: Web embeds, screen display, styling controls and API access cover several presentation and integration needs.
Cons: The Free Forever plan is restricted to Facebook and Instagram, has just two sources and refreshes every 24 hours, limiting its usefulness for timely multi-source walls.
Cons: Tweet quotas vary by plan, and some lower tiers do not include tweets, so buyers relying on that source need to compare allowances carefully.
Cons: The displayed 1.00 USD monthly price across several plans and unclear billing interval make paid tiers difficult to compare on price alone.

Alternatives

Social Media Feed Software is the broader category directory for comparing this type of product. Choose FeedWind if a web-based widget with a free plan is the priority. EmbedSocial is another freemium web and API option; its free tier specifies one source and 500 views per month. Choose Flow-Flow Social Streams if a self-hosted WordPress option matters; its free version includes four sources and unlimited streams subject to server capacity. SociableKIT Social Feed Widget may suit a small deployment with a defined free allowance of one source, one widget, one domain and up to 2,000 monthly views. Taggbox gives free users one feed, 500 monthly views and updates every four days. Curator.io is worth considering for a free plan with three sources, 2,000 monthly views and unlimited admin users. Tagembed offers a free feed with 500 monthly views and refreshes every four days. Wallrus is another web-based option with a free plan.

Verdict

Choose Onstipe if you need a curated wall that can move between a website and a screen, with meaningful moderation, styling and API options. Its feature mix addresses more than simple feed display, but buyers who need a clear price-to-capacity comparison should look elsewhere until the plan terms are easier to weigh.
