In their own words

OP3

OP3 is a free, open-source podcast prefix analytics service for podcasters and podcast hosting companies. To measure downloads, a host or podcaster places https://op3.dev/e/ before episode URLs in a podcast feed. Each measured show receives a public statistics page with download metrics, detailed breakdowns, and spreadsheet exports covering its history. OP3 also provides an API for collected podcast data; requests require a bearer token linked to a valid API key. The service says it stores basic request attributes, hashes and encrypts listener IP addresses before storage, and does not combine those addresses with third-party data or services. Its privacy policy says no cookies are used and identifies Cloudflare as the sole hosting provider and data store. OP3 says its redirect service uses a global CDN with edge nodes in more than 335 cities across more than 125 countries. API hit-query filtering by URL or hashed IP is limited to the last 90 days.

Podder

Podder provides podcast analytics and audience insights for shows. Audience profiles can include age, gender, country, household data, Big Five personality, education, life stage, interests and buying intent. Download reporting breaks results down by player, device, operating system and country, with location heatmaps and per-episode tracking. Podder follows Spotify and Apple charts across countries and records review volume and sentiment. SmartLinks create customizable landing pages. Reports can be downloaded as PDFs; Enterprise adds custom reporting and raw-data exports. Tracking starts by adding a prefix to the podcast feed through its hosting provider. Listed integrations include Buzzsprout, Transistor, Megaphone, Simplecast, Captivate, Podbean, Spreaker, Castos and Art19, while Libsyn support is in progress. Podder says Acast, Anchor, Audioboom and RedCircle do not permit third-party analytics prefixes. Analytics costs $19 a month for shows under 50k monthly downloads. Enterprise has custom pricing for shows with 50k+ monthly downloads and includes API access, white labelling and other listed additions.
