TechnoRiverStudio
TechnoRiverStudio is Windows desktop software for designing labels and printing barcodes. Its WYSIWYG editor provides a precise screen view and print preview, with tools for placing text, graphics, logos, and shapes. It supports 1D and 2D symbologies such as GS1-DataBar, GS1-128, PDF417, Data Matrix, and QR Code with Kanji support. Layouts can use data from Access, MySQL, Oracle, Excel, delimited text files, and ODBC- or OLE DB-compliant sources. An expandable label-stock database stores templates with dimensions, regions, and cutouts. The specifications also list RFID encoding schemes, variable data printing, and command-line automation for selecting labels, setting quantities and starting positions, and specifying SQL to select records. Network clients, including mobile devices, can submit print requests through a directory or mailbox that the software scans. It works with local and network printers using Windows printer drivers. The Community Edition is free; paid editions start at $99, paid once. A 30-day trial is included with the download.
