In their own words
OpenDota
OpenDota is a free, open-source Dota 2 data platform built around automated match-replay parsing. Its API supplies match, player, hero, team, league, ranking, live-game, and match-scenario data, including advanced details extracted from replays. The API works without a key; registering for one increases rate limits and usage. OpenDota says its raw data comes from Valve’s WebAPI and automated replay parsing. Professional and tournament matches continue to receive automatic parsing, and users can request manual parsing without a stated request limit. Subscribers receive automatic match parsing and a profile badge through the $5 a month OpenDota Subscriber plan. A mobile application uses the API on Android and iOS. OpenDota publishes its API code and Docker Compose instructions for self-hosting, with the core repository under the MIT license. The project began in August 2014, was founded by Howard Chung and Albert Cui, and directs support questions to its Discord community.
U.GG
U.GG provides game statistics, builds, tier lists, win rates, and counters, with League of Legends as a core focus. Its free desktop app brings together products for League of Legends, Valorant, Deadlock, and World of Warcraft on Windows and macOS. League tools include champion-select and live-game scouting, in-game builds, auto-imported loadouts, post-game analytics, and leaderboards. For retail World of Warcraft, its Class Codex addon displays talent builds, best-in-slot gear, stat priorities, and rotations in game. The app also lets users browse Icy Veins guides and choose between those guides and U.GG data in Class Codex. Other listed supported games include Rematch, Teamfight Tactics, and Helldivers 2. U.GG PLUS adds ad-free use across the website and app, personal counters and stats, a personal tier list, profile customization, social links, and priority support. The annual plan is $2.49 a year, billed annually at $29.88 a year, with a 7-day free trial; the monthly plan costs $3.99 a month. U.GG lists the United States as its headquarters. Its privacy policy says it collects account and registration data, usage and session data, and device information.
