P2P Estimating
P2P Estimating is web-based construction estimating software for subcontractors. It turns uploaded blueprints into takeoffs priced against a user’s labor and material rates. Blueprint files can be PDFs, images, or CAD files such as DWG and DXF, including multi-sheet sets. The software supports 28 trades and identifies scope, then measures counts, lengths, and areas using trade-specific takeoff logic. The generated estimate is a draft for review before bidding. Users can upload a blueprint and create a free shareable link without logging in, but an AI takeoff requires a free account. The Free plan includes 5,000 coins on signup, described as enough for a first takeoff, plus estimate saving and re-pricing and AI estimating chat. Paid plans start at $99 a month. The pricing page estimates an estimate uses roughly $25–$75 of credit depending on plan size; editing or re-pricing a saved estimate adds no credit cost. Plans are month-to-month and can be changed or canceled at any time. Failed estimates do not consume credit, and the upload flow says blueprints are not shared.
Werx
Werx is contractor management software for trade contractors, covering work from estimates through final payment. Users can create itemized or proposal estimates for clients to approve online, manage AIA-style G702/G703 pay applications, schedules of values and retainage, and track budget-to-actual costs and profitability by cost code. It also supports time-and-material invoicing with labor and material tracking. Werx syncs in both directions with QuickBooks Online on every plan; QuickBooks Desktop is not supported. Customers can pay invoices by credit card or ACH through Stripe. The iOS and Android Field App supports time tracking, Extra Work Authorizations and customer signatures; a full mobile version is described as coming soon. Werx is available on the web, iOS and Android, and is aimed at small-to-midsized contractors, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roofing, landscaping and remodeling businesses. Month-to-month plans cost $49.00 per month for 10 active projects, $89.00 for 20, or $119.00 for unlimited active projects. Inactive projects do not count toward the limit. There is no free plan, but a 14-day trial requires no credit card.
