In their own words
Paletto Studio
Paletto Studio is a free web-based color tool for surface pattern designers. It can extract colors from a photo, refine them with harmony tools, and preview them on a design in the browser. Users can also create palettes from pasted hex codes or colors in their library. The palette tool accepts PNG, JPG, and WEBP images up to 50MB. Recoloring can start from hex codes, a library palette, or a newly created one, and palettes can be exported for Photoshop, Procreate, and more. Palette and recolor tools work without an account. Signing in lets users save palettes, organize them into collections, and load them into the tools. Uploaded images are processed in the browser and are not sent to Paletto Studio’s servers or third parties. Users own their designs and palettes, but the terms do not guarantee that exported colors will match physical print output; monitor calibration and substrate variation can affect it. The site uses a session cookie to keep users signed in and says it does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
