In their own words
Pastello
Pastello is a Minecraft texture pack made in Italy by Matteo Rizzo. It uses stylized textures intended to remain recognizable during gameplay, with a free Lite edition and paid Full resolutions. Pastello Lite is free at 128x and includes normal and specular maps, with an ad-supported download. Full 720p costs €6.00 per month, Full 1080p €10.00 per month, and Full 4K €25.00 per month. These paid tiers list higher-resolution textures, normal and specular maps, Parallax Occlusion, Optifine features, monthly updates, lifetime access and ad-free downloads. The maker describes physically accurate reflections and compatibility with SEUS PTGI and labPBR standards. A shader pack is required for the 3D effect and screenshot appearance. Pastello requires a very powerful PC, so the maker recommends trying Lite before Full. The project remains unfinished, with textures still being added. Digital products are for personal use, and downloadable sales are final and non-refundable.
