In their own words

pgFormatter

pgFormatter is free software for formatting PostgreSQL SQL queries and PL/pgSQL code. It supports SQL-92, SQL-99, SQL-2003, SQL-2008, SQL-2011 and PostgreSQL syntax, and the project says it also works with other databases. You can run it as a console program or CGI application that returns text or HTML; a CGI request with an application/json Accept header can return JSON. Formatting controls cover keyword, function, identifier and type case, indentation, query wrapping and comma placement. The --anonymize option hides query literals before formatting. The project documents source installation with Perl Makefile.PL, make and make install, Docker use, Vim and (Neo)Vim integration, Atom and Visual Studio Code links, and a pre-commit hook for SQL files. An online demo limits queries to ten thousand characters. It is distributed under the PostgreSQL Licence at free.

SQLint

SQLint is a free, MIT-licensed Python parser and linter for Standard SQL (BigQuery), intended for developers on Linux. It checks indentation, repeated spaces and blank lines, keyword casing, comma placement, bracket spacing, operator spacing, and join formatting. The `-f` option formats SQL, and automatic fixes are supported. Command-line use and Python imports for `parse`, `check`, and `format` are documented. The project also describes a configuration file, CI/CD integration, and Docker instructions for building and running the tool. Installation uses `pip install sqlint` or a repository clone. PyPI lists version 0.2.4, released October 22, 2019, with a source distribution and a platform-independent `py3-none-any` wheel. The package is classified as Alpha, and no free trial is listed because the package itself is free. The repository provides an Issues tracker for questions and reports. The documented SQL dialect is Standard SQL (BigQuery), with no third-party integrations listed on the opened page.
