Overview

vivo EasyShare is a free tool for moving files between phones and backing up or restoring phone data on a computer. It suits people replacing a phone or moving files without using mobile data. Its strongest case is straightforward transfer across phone and PC workflows; app installation and encrypted-backup limits are worth checking before a migration.

The maker says transfers can reach up to 40 MB/s, though that is a maximum rather than a promised speed. Phone Clone pairs devices by QR code and moves personal files and data in one tap, while File Transfer supports multiple file types and simultaneous interaction among multiple people. Key features

Phone-to-phone migration

Phone Clone is the convenient choice when moving personal data from an old phone to a new one. Apps can be transferred, but they might not install automatically on the receiving phone; they may need manual installation from Files > Apps. That extra step makes EasyShare less hands-off for app-heavy migrations.

File transfers and PC backup

File Transfer handles multiple file types and allows multiple people to interact simultaneously. EasyShare for PC connects to a phone by USB or Wi-Fi for backup or restore, giving it a useful role beyond device-to-device migration. One important limit: encrypted data will not be backed up to a PC.

Privacy and availability

Content used for device cloning and backup restoration is processed on the device and is not collected, accessed, or uploaded to vivo’s servers. vivo says it uses safeguards including encryption and anonymization to protect personal data. Optional usage and diagnostic collection can be disabled in settings when available. Some features may vary by country or region and software version.

Pricing

EasyShare has one plan: Free — 0.00 USD per free. It includes free-data file transfer and phone cloning, making it a practical fit for users who need core transfers without a subscription. There are no paid tiers or stated seat, quota, trial, or renewal terms to weigh against the free plan.

Platforms

EasyShare supports Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows. It covers both mobile operating systems and computer platforms, with phone-to-phone transfers, phone-to-computer transfers, app transfer, and computer backup among its supported uses.

Who it's for

EasyShare is a sensible choice for people moving personal data between phones, sharing files without mobile data, or using a computer to back up or restore a phone. It is less suitable when a PC backup must include encrypted data or when the receiving phone must install every transferred app automatically.

Pros and cons

Free phone cloning and file transfer: core migration and sharing do not require a paid plan.
Several transfer paths: phone-to-phone and phone-to-computer support, plus PC backup and restore, cover more than a single migration scenario.
On-device processing for clone and restore content: that content is not uploaded to vivo’s servers.
App installs may need manual work: transferred apps might not install automatically on the new phone.
Encrypted data is excluded from PC backup: users who need that content backed up will need another approach.
Feature availability can vary: country, region, and software version may affect access.

Alternatives

Pick Wondershare MobileTrans if you want a paid tool with a free plan and trial, and its Monthly Plan’s Phone Backup & Restore, App Backup & Restore, and Deleted WhatsApp Data Restore. That plan costs 25.99 USD per month, billed auto-renew with cancellation at any time; EasyShare is free but does not describe those restore functions.

FoneTool may suit iOS users looking for a yearly plan with stated device coverage: FoneTool Unlocker Pro — Yearly costs 29.95 USD per year and covers 5 iOS Devices / 1 PC with one year of free upgrades. Its FoneTool Pro — Yearly plan costs 39.95 USD per year. EasyShare remains the free choice for cross-platform phone transfers and PC backup.

Consider AnyDroid if you want a paid, trial-offering option with a 1-Year Subscription at 29.99 USD per year, automatically renewed yearly, for one computer; it includes sales tax, allows cancellation anytime, and includes 24/7 free customer support. EasyShare costs nothing but offers no comparable subscription support terms.

Contact Transfer is another paid option with a free plan and trial, as well as a one-time purchase and lifetime software license; its price is not given. Choose among them based on which transfer workflow and terms fit your needs.

Huawei HiSuite is a free Mac and Windows option; its Mac version supports picture, video, file, and backup/restore functions. It is a narrower fit if you need a computer tool and those Mac functions meet your needs, while EasyShare also supports Android and iOS.

Syncios Manager offers a free version and a paid 1 Year Subscription at 34.95 USD per year. Its free version’s features are listed in a version comparison; EasyShare is the simpler free alternative when phone cloning and PC backup or restore are the priority.

ApowerManager has free and paid options, including Personal Monthly at 29.95 USD per month and Personal Annual at 39.95 USD per year. It is worth comparing if you prefer a freemium tool with monthly or annual personal plans; EasyShare has no paid plan.

DearMob iPhone Manager is a paid option with a free plan and trial, for macOS and Windows.

Verdict

Choose vivo EasyShare if you want a free way to move personal data between phones and handle phone transfers or backup and restore through a PC. Its breadth of transfer paths and on-device processing for clone and restore content are strong reasons to start here. Look elsewhere if your PC backup must capture encrypted data or you need transferred apps to install automatically.
