Phrasit
Phrasit is a web hub of text, citation, grammar, and study tools for students, professionals, writers, and creators. Its tools include paraphrasing, grammar checking, summarizing, tone rewriting, translation, AI chat, and writing generators. The paraphraser offers nine modes and a strength dial. Its citation generator covers APA 7, MLA 9, Chicago, Harvard, and IEEE across 30 source types; the AI detector reports a likelihood band rather than a percentage. Phrasit has a free plan with a 150-word run limit and 30 AI runs per month, and paid plans start at $4.00 per month. Basic costs $4.00 per month and allows 600 words per run and 400 runs monthly. Premium costs $7.00 per month and adds PDF and DOCX uploads, while Unlimited costs $20.00 per month and includes bulk document uploads. Phrasit says it does not retain AI request text after responding. Text entered into its word counter, case converter, reading-level analyzer, and text comparator stays in the browser. AI requests go to Anthropic’s API, and grammar checks are sent through LanguageTool.
