PickLM vs Playbypoint

PickLM provides pickleball clubs with tools for memberships, leagues, tournaments, scores, standings, communications, and court reservations. Organizers can run round robin or flight ladder leagues, single or double elimination tournaments, and Open Play formats such as rotating partner and King of the Court. Tournament brackets can use DUPR ratings for seeding; the system handles byes, live brackets, and automatic match submission to DUPR. Flight System leagues group players by skill and support weekly sessions, live standings, promotion, and relegation. Players can link DUPR through OAuth. PickLM says it retains the DUPR ID rather than the password and submits verified results through DUPR’s Partner API. Organizers can set entry fees, split doubles payments, and issue automatic refunds if an event is cancelled. Razorpay processes tournament fees; PickLM stores payment status, link references, and transaction amounts, but not card or bank details. The free Founder Membership gives approved clubs full feature access during the launch period without a credit card. Apps require iOS 16 or later or Android 11 or later.
