PicPick
PicPick combines screen capture and recording with image editing, color picking, pixel measurement, and annotation tools in a Windows application. Capture options include full screens, active windows, scrolling windows, fixed or freehand regions, and multiple monitors, with hotkeys and auto-save. Recordings can cover a screen, window, or selected region, include system audio and microphone input, and be saved locally. The editor supports drawing, shapes, callouts, stamps, cropping, resizing, erasing, and retouching. Design tools include a color picker and palette, pixel ruler, magnifier, crosshair, protractor, and whiteboard. Images can be exported as PNG, JPEG, BMP, GIF, or PDF. Sharing destinations include cloud drives, FTP, email, social platforms, and Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. The maker says the application runs locally, does not collect usage data, and does not require an internet connection to function. Home is for personal, non-commercial use and has manual updates and no technical support. Professional costs $3,630 a year and permits business use, with automatic updates and priority technical support. PicPick is for Windows; Mac and Linux builds are not planned.

After a capture, ShareX can copy, open, shorten, or share links, and supports many upload destinations as well as custom uploaders. It also lists browser extension support and supports many languages, including English, Hindi, and Spanish. ShareX requires no account and has no advertisements. The ShareX Team maintains the software, which has had more than 18 years of active development and over 33 million downloads worldwide. The maker describes its approach as privacy first. The website provides documentation guides and links to related GitHub projects. ShareX is available for Windows.
