In their own words
Pigment
Pigment is an AI platform for real-time business planning across Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, and HR. It supports budgeting, forecasting, forecast-versus-actuals, scenario modeling, variance analysis, workforce planning, and financial consolidation. The Modeler Agent creates and evolves governed models, while the Analyst Agent scans metrics for trends and anomalies and builds reports. Frames lets users describe a visualization, executive view, or collection form that reads from and writes to a live Pigment model. The service runs on the web and through an API. Listed integrations include NetSuite, Sage Intacct, SAP, and Salesforce; generic APIs and API or ETL options support custom connections. Access controls include SAML 2.0 SSO, SCIM, Google Login, MFA, domain allowlisting, role-based access, and fine-grained data rights. Pigment states that it holds SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO 27001 certifications, encrypts data, and does not use customer data to train foundation models. The 14-day free trial costs nothing and has limited features.
Predict.ai
Predict.ai finds possible drivers of business outcomes, compares forecasting models against historical data, and updates deployed forecasts as incoming data changes. Users select an outcome and forecast horizon; the platform searches for drivers, backtests models, deploys a result, and reevaluates it over time. Its workspace surfaces trends, anomalies, recurring patterns, correlations, lead-lag relationships, and leading indicators. Scenario tools let users alter a driver or schedule an event to compare a forecast with its baseline, but this does not establish causation. Data inputs include uploads, REST, Kafka, S3, BigQuery, PostgreSQL, and webhooks. Forecasts can be served through hosted REST, streaming, or batch inference endpoints, with quantile bands in responses. The maker also lists a REST API, Python and TypeScript SDKs, WebSockets, and MCP support for AI agents. The Free plan costs nothing and is capped at 500 credits monthly. Starter costs $149 a month, and Team costs $2,499 a month. Predict.ai says workspace data is isolated and not used to train shared or other customers' models.
