In their own words
Wan
Wan is a free, open-source suite of video foundation models that runs on Linux and can be self-hosted. It supports text-to-video, image-to-video, video editing, text-to-image, and video-to-audio generation, including Chinese and English text inside videos. VACE handles editing or generation from a prompt with optional video, mask, and image inputs. T2V-14B supports 480P and 720P output; T2V-1.3B supports 480P, while its 720P results are described as less stable. The T2V-1.3B model requires 8.19 GB of VRAM, and the project reports about four minutes for a five-second 480P video on an RTX 4090 without quantization. Wan-VAE encodes and decodes 1080P video of any length. Model weights are available through Hugging Face and ModelScope, with Diffusers and ComfyUI integrations. Installation uses pip or Poetry and requires PyTorch 2.4.0 or later. The Apache-2.0 license permits commercial use.
